Wellness With Horses Family Therapy

Our purpose is to provide therapeutic sessions to individuals and families that are struggling with a variety of issues. This program is uniquely different from traditional talk therapy because our sessions include but are not limited to use of horses, gardening and walking meditation in an outdoor setting. This program uses evidence and strength-based models such as the Experiential Learning Model, Cognitive-Behavioral techniques and Systems-Based perspective.

o Program Goals & Objectives: To assist individuals and families during difficult life transitions, overcome obstacles they are facing, and help them achieve a better state of living.

o Format: Individuals and families are offered a unique opportunity to work with an equine partner in each of the therapeutic sessions. With the help of the therapist and the horse, families and individuals will be able to work together to overcome the challenges they are facing.

o Costs: $60/session. We offer sliding scale fees and flexible payment plans!

The purpose of this program is to teach young people within the community the valuable skills of becoming a peer mentor. This includes, active listening skills, empathy, self-awareness, and role modeling. Peer mentoring has shown to be effective way to help youth build self-confidence, gain leadership skills and reduce bullying (1).

o Program Goals & Objectives: To provide youth in the community with the skills to become strong youth advocates and leaders.

o Format: This program is divided into two sections: curriculum and direct application. Once the participants have completed their curriculum portion, they will join the ELP group to directly apply their newfound knowledge and skills with adult supervision.

o Cost: Each class costs $14.50.

Beyond the Boardroom Coaching Program

• Format- each organization is given an evaluation that helps our ZEAL team choose an activity for your group that will best bring out team dynamics, and will allow focus to be placed on overcoming challenges, and discovering strengths within our group. Our unique team building environment and with the added component of horse power, will be sure to make this an experience that you and your team will never forget!

• Hourly Rates $325 for small groups under 20
  • 1/2 day Rate $1,500 for groups up to 30
